Terms of Service

Resumly is a web app for writing, formatting and downloading your own resume. It is run by 5narse LLP, Kazakhstan ("we", "us"). By creating an account you agree to these terms. Questions: support@resumly.io.

What Resumly does, and what it doesn't

Resumly is software. You write the content; we give you templates, an editor and downloads. We don't write resumes for you, we aren't a job board or a recruiter, we don't send your resume to employers, and we don't promise interviews or a job.

Your account

• You sign in with Google. Keep that account secure; activity under it is yours.
• You must be at least 16 years old to use Resumly.
• One person per account. Don't share or resell access.

Your content

Your resumes belong to you. You give us permission to store and display them only so we can run the service for you. You are responsible for what you put in them: the information must be yours to use and must not be false in a way meant to deceive an employer.

Plans and payments

• The Free plan costs nothing and needs no card.
• Pro plans and their prices are listed on the pricing page. Prices are in US dollars; sales tax or VAT may be added at checkout depending on where you live.
• Payments are processed by Polar Software, Inc., our merchant of record. Polar's buyer terms apply to the payment itself.
• Pro, 4 weeks is a subscription. You are charged when you subscribe and then every 28 days until you cancel. Cancel any time in Profile → Manage billing; you keep Pro until the end of the period you paid for and are not charged again.
• Pro, 1 year is a single payment for 12 months of Pro. It never renews, so there is nothing to cancel.
• If we change the price of a subscription, we email you at least 14 days before the new price applies, so you can cancel first.

Refunds

You can get a full refund of any charge within 14 days. The details are in the refund policy.

Fair use

Don't use Resumly to:

• break the law or infringe someone else's rights;
• impersonate another person or make forged documents;
• scrape, overload, probe or attack the service;
• resell or repackage Resumly without our written permission.

Ending your account

You can stop using Resumly at any time; to delete your account and data, email support@resumly.io. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms. If we close your account without such a reason, we refund the unused part of any prepaid plan.

No warranty, limited liability

We work to keep Resumly available and your data safe, but the service is provided "as is". Keep your own copy of anything important. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer protection law.

Changes to these terms

We will post changes on this page and update the date at the top. If a change affects you materially, we email you before it takes effect.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Kazakhstan, except where the consumer law of your country of residence gives you stronger protection.
